Here we are at Jordan's Oth birthday party (or is that Ost?)! We have been recovering back at home for the last couple of days and doing all we can to get some winks of sleep and discover how to raise two boys simultaneously. Josiah has been a bit weary of the transition as his parents keep gawking over some other child. Fortunately we have been getting some help from some friends: Thanks so much for all that have come to visit us and support us during this time! It has really refreshed us and given us energy to pour into our boys and each other.

Special thanks to Kristin Schwabauer (did I spell that right?) who has been Josiah's surrogate mother the last couple of days, and Clay and Larissa Proctor (to be...) who have been such a support. God bless you all for your generosity at a time when we have little to give in return.

Jordan's Oth birthday was a kick. Along with Kristin, Clay and Larissa, our friends Ruth and Logan Perry and their son Josiah (not a typo!) came down from Maine to see us and we were able to enjoy a delicious meal, talk and watch a room full of boys fight over a John Deere toy tracter together. What a delight!
Jen is doing well and recovering quickly. Nevertheless we eagerly await the arrival of Jen's mom Cheryl who is graciously coming out to help us for a week starting Monday. Thank you all again for joining us in this special time of joy and celebration. It would not have been complete without you all!

Happy 0th Birthday Josiah! Again, I wish I could've been there. Wow. May I call you sometime soon Jen?! I can hardly believe you have two kids already. You looked great in all the birth photos, by the way. Usually women look really... discolored and puffy. But you looked gorgeous!!! What nice photos they were, and they captured the essence of the days. Thanks. I'd be sending more photos but I am currently unable to download photos from my phone to my computer. boo. Anyhow, what do you need that I could send you? I though about sending you another baby outfit, but I bet you have a million? What about a treat for mom? Or some fancy lotions or bubble baths?? Let me know... I want to celebrate you and Jordan!
I am still planning on visiting you in CA over Christmas break. Let me know when you're there so I can start planning...
Love,
Rachel
Wow, what beautiful pictures of the 4 of you. And who is the baby with the "tongue" I laughed outloud-too funny! Now that is a new kind of birthday celebration. How perfect. You all look so wonderful to us. I am whining & complaining at work because I can't access this site because of the filters. I want to share with everyone at work. Is there anyway to print from these pages? We love you all! Mom & Dad

Rachel,
You're wonderful- you are the one that movtivated us to get this blog moving along, and it has been such a blessing for us to feel connected during this time. Too bad about your photos! I look forward to when you are back in blog action again.
We should be in CA starting at about Christmas time and ... then staying for who knows how long! We are intending to move mid-december out the California! Since we have to drive across the country we won't make it there until close to Christmas time, but we'll be around after that. We can't wait to see you guys!
Jen
