Week #1 of Having #2

Our first family photo! It really captures our lives these days... Baby peacefully sleeping, beautiful New England fall scenery, mom with her hands jammed full, dad trying to keep a smile and Josiah bouncing off the walls! Wow, a family of four. What a challenge; what a delight!

Jordan has been a little saint in green pajamas. All of Jenelle's dreams came true of a child who actually sleeps, breathes quietly and keeps some of his emotions internalized. Josiah on the other hand has been boiling over at full temperature. He loves the little baby and helps out trying to comfort him occasionally which is adorable, but all the excitement and change has led to his already passionate temperment tossing him around rough seas.

Fortunately Jordan wasn't the only saint in our home this week... We had a heavenly visit from our mom Cheryl! Ohhh to be free again to study, work, and tend to our newest addition! How sweet the time when a grandmother comes bearing warm pumkin pies, savoury chicken pot pies and groceries galore- when all of our laundry is washed and folded, and Josiah has a favorite companion to swing with at the park. Suddenly life with two children is as a stroll through a blooming garden, not without thorns, but beautiful to the heart and senses. It makes one long for a time when such visits never end...
