Weekly Update

We had a wonderful time with Grandma and Grandpa Hopkins out from California last week! We got to explore all the history around the Boston area, eat seafood fresh off the ocean floor, visit a museum full of creative kids stuff, hike around the beautiful Northshore and best of all we had lots of time to hang out and talk and laugh together. Thanks mom and dad for coming out~! It was a joy to share our lives out here with you.

In less significant matters the Lemons set a couple of family records this week: We found history's largest Zuchini (I'm sure of it:) at the farms market this week. We have been brainstorming ideas of how we can eat it. We already sauted it and we have so much left I think we are going to have to cut it into Zuchini pancakes for breakfast and Zuchini burgers for dinner!

Count those 38 levels on Jenga! All while watching Ben-Hur on our computer! Can anyone compete? It was the first game of Jenga we had played in years...who knew we had such potential lying dormant without an outlet...:)

Try making zuccini bread! It was always so delicious at Starbucks. If you don't have a recipe, I would just use any good banana bread recipe and substitute zuccini.

I'm glad the blog thing is catching on. I already feel more a part of your lives =)

So Jen, when is your baby due? We just watched the "Friends" tonight where Phoebe pops out 3 babies pretty easily. I'm guessing it doesn't happen that simply. I'm interested to know how you'll compare giving natural birth to giving birth when you're on pain-killers. Hmmm.

Lots of love,

Rachel

Well, Jen took your advice and made several loaves of DELICIOUS zuchini bread... Yummm... Wish you could all try some. We've still got zuchini left over that we are freezing for future sweet delights! Thanks for the advice:)
