Party Week!

New babies can put the party life on hold for a time, and since little Lemons' #2 is expected any day now we've been livin' it up while we can. Here's a glimpse into our fun, friend filled week:
Margarita's Birthday
Though it took until 9:20pm to get seated at the Cheescake Factory (we waited 2 1/2 hrs!!), and then we found that they only had about of a third of the entrees that we ordered, nothing could stop the roaring laughter of this spirited crew. It was a fun excuse to get a baby sitter and head into Boston with Margarita and Marcos, and Camilla and Kelvin.
Bible Trivia and Dutch Babies
Of course here at seminary we have to get in our weekly recreational allotment of Bible Trivia. Our neighbors, Brooke and Derek, triumphed over us this time, but luckily nothing could dampen our spirits after Cameron made "Apple Dutch Babies" with some of the apples left over from apple picking. Here's a taste of the excitement:'How many Books of the Bible do not contain the word "God"?' (answer will come later in comments)
The Vicarious Birthday Party
After we were taken out to a hearty dinner at Outback, Larissa, Clay, and Kristin came over to celebrate Ruth Perry's Birthday (who just happened to be in Maine at the time!)... But we had a great time singing to her over the phone and blowing out her birthday candles!

The Bumpy Road
Playgrounds can be quite trecherous for a boy in hot pursuit. Josiah took a spill while chasing a little gal up the slide this week. Oh the heart breaks of being a parent!Speaking of hard knocks, the whole Lemons family is going through that joyous and hair pulling experience of finishing school and looking for work. We are hoping to be able to serve at a church back in CA near family and friends come December so please keep your eyes open for opportunities and pray for us when you think about it.

Looks like you two were having so much fun!! The picture of Josiah made me cringe--that bump is huge. So my guess at the Bible trivia is that only one book in the Bible doesn't contain God--it is Ruth. Is that right?

I'm glad you are enjoying our blog! How much fun is this!

The answer to the question is... Ester! Which, coincidently has a movie coming out in 2 weeks by the way. Unfortunately no one will be receiving the secret $10,000 prize we had attached to the quiz. :( Shucks!
