¡Es un muchacho!

The day finally arrived! Wednesday evening Jenelle started having a couple of strong contractions while finishing her grocery shopping and she knew; This was it! After a mad rush to eat dinner for dad, getting Josiah ready for our friends the Bakers and grabbing everything we had packed up we were off to hospital. It was just in time! Jenelle body only knows one speed for having children: !Rapidamente! We barely had time for Jen to get an epidural, but it kicked in just in time to slow down the sprint. Unfortunately it did not completely work; But Jen labored wonderfully and though she experienced a lot of pain she made it through with an aura of grace- as you can see from the pictures! Our friends Birdie and the Goldies (that sounds like a band name doesnt it :) were there to witness the miracle and the nurses were quick to inform them, "Do not think this is how it really is! Birth is supposed to be much more complicated that this!" Praise God- everythingcould not have gone gone better. Thanks for your prayers and joy!
This is the precious little one! We are so excited! He is so beautiful. Jordan Nathanael Todd Lemons is his name...Wow, thats the first time I have ever written it; what a delight! He was 20 inches, 7 lbs and 13 oz. He only took 4 hours from start to finish to be born (and it would have been sooner if Jen didnt have to wait for me to return to start pushing because I was making some phone calls!). He truly 'descended' as his name implies in Hebrew.

This is the first time the brothers ever met! Josiah was so delighted that he was giving Jordan kisses and hugs (along with pats on the head). They are as unique as can be. Jordan's head is about half the size of Josiah's 99th percentile whopper. Jordan seems very serious and 'stately' as our friends the Gonzales put it as opposed to our passionate little tike Siah. I can't wait to see them continue to blosson into their own persons. But for the meantime we are overjoyed to savor each moment of these precious times!

JENELLE LEMONS: I don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful woman (well, a picture of a beautiful woman) than you holding Jordan. It brings tears to my eyes over and over again. I couldn't be happier for you guys. And I know the Lord will provide. What an inspiration you are. You are using your flesh to do what the Lord desires and commands for married people to do: THAT is purity!

I hope you've kept the outfit I gave you that was too small for Josiah, because here comes Jordan! (But it couldn't be more perfect since you have so many boy things, eh?!)

woo hoo!!! que excitamente! I don't know spanish! Glad to see that everyone is safe and sound, and I must echo Grace's comment - Jenelle looks so radiant that you wouldn't know she had just been through labor - but that cute little guy in the picture gives it away! Congratulations many times over!!!

I hadn't got a chance to read through all the "blogs" yet. I love it all. Living vicariously is such fun. You are 2 amazing-wonderful-blessed members of my family. I just love seeing the true joys in your faces. Web Cam today was so special. Can't wait to have you "home". God bless you all abundantly. Mom & Dad

CONGRATS!!!!!! Oh what a beautiful little fella. Sounds like this second delivery happened in half the time and I'm glad to hear that both Jen and the baby are healthy. The picture of Josiah with his new brother is absolutely adorable!! Just like Cam said, it will be a wonderful process to see how their personalities emerge and influence one another. Jen, you are radiant!
