What can we say, we're addicted to wildlife! We got season passes to the wild animal park and the San Diego Zoo. So this week we took a field trip to the zoo. One of the best attractions in my opinion were the peacocks they let roam around . We got lucky, it is spring time out here so all the male peacocks were strutting their stuff (above). But before we go any further we must announce the winner of the best monkey-poser (2 blogs back). Though everyone got voted for... (drumroll please) "Pregnant Jenelle" took the cake, with "Booty Matt" coming in a close second (thanks to all of you who voted!!). Below is an encore from the defending champ herself, it's called "Baby in Tote".

Besides our eventful day at the Zoo, we've had a busy week: We visited our dear friends Brie and Mark (Yeah!), celebrating a couples bridal shower with them and their rowdy family. Cameron and Matt finished up painting the house (pictures to come next blog).

We got out and played tennis a few times, and we also introduced Jordan to the wide world of solid foods giving him his first taste of rice cereal. Which doesn't seem very eventful but from a mother's perspective is monumental. Finally, the other eventful part of our week was... RAIN! The picture below is Josiah all decked out and ready to go play in the mud puddles with Cameron.

I would love to see you guys sometime while we're both in California. I see that you've gotten to enjoy San Diego this week! I'm so bummed that I haven't been in touch sooner. So, for future reference my phone number is 619-884-4870. I'd love to catch up sometime. And i'll let you know if I'm ever headed up to your neck of the woods...which is where exactly? You all look well. Peace to you...

Hola amigos,
We are so happy to hear about all you are doing. It sounds like a lot of fun. But we still miss you. :(
Who won the P.Rican Scat. game anyway? We love you and think of you often,
M&M
If I build a fence around me and eat out of a trough, will Jordan come and visit me?
Sad I didn't get to vote for the monkey photo contest but I'm waiting to see one of someone up a tree! :)
Looks like you're enjoying the spring weather - Josiah looks so cute in his rain get-up!
Did you get my birthday call, Jen?? I was thinking of you!! How old are you now?? 24 or 25? I'll be 26 this year. That sounds so old. Mark had an interview yesterday for a possible chiropractic job in Hull-- the only chiropractic job possibility in Hull that we've just been made aware of... pray for us, for God's will to be done, of couse. Maybe God doesn't want us to stay here?! Hmmm. Anyhow, Mark said the interview went well. In addition to that, Mark is now interested in working with a Christian Chiropractor in Australia!!! Lots of decision to make....
Lots of love,
Rachel
p.s. You do look fabulous, Jen!
