would be such a hit
. I'll have to think of a use for "Captain Tannenbaumer" now... If you have any ideas let me know.
We couldn't help but to go out and get a Christmas tree for our little apartment this year. We have officailly begun our move back west (In case you haven't heard we are moving to Temecula, CA December 19th to be with family while we search for our next job- Hopefully serving as an assistant pastor somewhere out near our loved ones!). And while we were mailing off all our books and clothes and finding homes for our all our garage sale furniture we realized we needed some encouraging object of consistency! Our bargain Home Depot Christmas tree was just the thing! It came fully equipt with seven different points where our angel could sit... What options!
Jenelle has been busy packing up our home, planning final get togethers, helping our little ones flurish (Jordan is already 13 lb 8 oz!) and of course watching for any more CBB's that might be flying our way. Cameron is working on his final integrative paper, which has been a joy and a time consuming project. The project is on Pursuing Spiritual Vitality and is an exciting way to draw together many of the different classes and experiences of seminary into one final reflection/project.
Josiah is walking his plastic dog around our apartment to keep himself occupied. The cold weather means that he doesn't get outside quite as much as he once did. It is cooling off but we still haven't had our first snowfall of the year yet. This is the first year we've been out here when we haven't had a snow before Thanksgiving! If it doesn't snow in New England in December, what's the point!? We are hoping to have a beautiful snow and then we will be more than content to return to the warm California weather where our son can play with Granpa Lemons' real dog outside. We are going to miss all our wonderful New England friends but we are getting quite exciting to move back home and celebrate Christmas with our families...

Oh how I love these blogs! I know I will enjoy reading them even when you're out here. The Christmas tree looks great. It was wonderful to talk with you today. Hope the pizza time was fun. Lots of Love,

Hey friends, I stumbled upon your blog after getting an email from our mutually appreciated Tim Dunbar in the beatific Denver, CO. Well, It is a joy for me to see pictures of your complete family. I hadn't met the new munchkin yet. He looks just as cute as the first. Yeah for moving to CA. I have been back West for 3+ months now, and only two weeks left in my first semester at San Francisco Theological Seminary.
Glad to see your beautiful family and I will have to make a point of contacting you in Temecula if I come south at all this coming Spring. Sadly, I am not going to be south for Christmas. Well Peace. My email is my name andrewhoeksema at gmail. So, It would be great to be in touch again.
I thought of you all Sunday. I visited a church in Marin, here where the new asst. pastor is a recent GC grad. Andy Pelander. Don't know if it rings a bell or not.
Peace in the North East. ajh
Hey, cool photos - you must be a master at that photo editor thing. Jess put our tree up the other night and it looks great. Of course, our young cat Wayne immediately went to work on knocking down the ornaments and within two hours succeeded in tipping over the entire tree. Hopefully the novelty will wear off soon...
